She studied dance from age 3 (ballet, tap, jazz, & modern) and competed nationally & regionally till she was 16 years old. Jillian Speer started studying voice at 9 years and classical guitar at 10 years old. Musical theater was also a hobby she took on, she starred in shows like “The Wizard of Oz” & “Godspell.” At age 16, Jillian Speer received an International scholarship to study in India for one year. In India, she became a certified yoga instructor and learned how to play the sitar. Jillian cut her first demo at 14 years old, and recorded her first album at 18. Within a year, Sony wanted Jillian to move to Los Angeles to sign a record deal. The deal never came to fruition because they wanted 100% of Jillian’s publishing.
