Jill Bryson is a Scottish artist and musician, most notably as a vocalist in the band Strawberry Switchblade. Jill studied for four years at the Glasgow School of Art where she achieved a BA honours degree in mixed media. In 1981 Jill and Rose McDowall formed the band Strawberry Switchblade. After sessions on the John Peel and David Jensen radio shows, the band was signed by Warner Bros. Records. In 1983 Jill's song Trees and flowers (which was written about her Agoraphobia) reached number three in the UK Independent Chart and was featured in John Peel's festive fifty.
