Katie Carpenter & Gary Burke are undoubtedly products of the live music scene and spend most of their time on the road between Ireland, UK, Italy, USA and Canada. "Solid stuff; hard gigging has given them a sprightly edge and Carpenter is a feisty flexible vocalist" (Hotpress Magazine). In March 2012 they released 'Back to The Start' - the acoustic based EP which marks a return to a rawer, more honest sound that Jezzebelle music was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be! Recorded in Hollywood in August 2011 during a break from touring, it's produced, recorded & mixed by Irishwoman Sharon Kearney and mastered by Mark Chalecki (Little Red Book Mastering). You'll find hints of folk, roots, rock, pop & alt. country in these songs and that's some kind of amalgamation of the life-long influences of both Carpenter & Burke - monster musical standards like Fleetwood Mac and Bruce Springsteen.
