Jetty Road have forged their own path and decided to go for it in a big way. 2009 saw the release of their new album, Life at a Million Miles - a new chapter in their remarkable journey. This album has a distinct flavour about it – confident with no apologies. “I stopped retreating to the backline, and I went out and I started playing the front nine” together with “I’ve always played my cards just how I wanted” and “this time I’m digging my feet down in the sand” are lyrics that capture the high and lows of their sometimes ‘crazy’ life, along the amazing road they’ve travelled to get them to where they are today. Twin sisters Lee and Paula, along with Julian and Simon make up Jetty Road. Their music has been described as ‘a tapestry of rock, pop and country, with a hint of folk.’ Imagine The Corrs, Fleetwood Mac and The Dixie Chicks with a unique Australian edge. The four friends met whilst studying at Music College; however it wasn’t until a few years later that they began writing and recording their own music and Jetty Road was born.
