Jetcetera was formed in 2017, by friends who found each other by luck. Aida Rashid, Asiff Noh and Nani Zul were introduced to each other by mutual friends, and together with 3 other members (who are no longer with the band) started playing together as a 6-piece indie rock outfit in early 2018 at local gigs around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Currently, the members consist of Aida Rashid (vocals, songwriter), Nani Zul (guitar), Omar Muzaffar (bass, keys) and Asiff Noh (drums). Having drawn inspiration from indie rock outfits like The Strokes, The Temper Trap, Alvvays previously, the band aims to move towards incorporating more Nusantara and folk elements in their music. Since its formation, the band released 3 singles namely ‘Hear Me Out’, ‘Damn Johnny’ and ‘Tickets’.
