Jessica Phillips was born on November 3rd in Nashville, TN, but she was raised in New England, giving her an attractive mix of southern musicality and rich northern training. Jessica started out as a competitive dancer before turning to acting; she studied the Linklater Technique as a teen and later had the privilege of training under Kristin Linklater herself. Jessica's musical training coincided with her dance and acting coaching; she trained passionately in music and competed and performed at the national level as a vocalist. Jessica was able to bring the three disciplines together when she attended Emerson College, where she earned her BFA in Musical Theatre. It wasn't long before Jessica moved south of Boston, to New York City, where she participated in various readings and developmental workshops, national tours, television, voice-overs, and feature films. Within a few years, Jessica found herself living her dream on Broadway. Jessica has performed all over the world, performing in capacities ranging from taking on principle roles in established musicals to creating characters in a slew of original productions. Her voice has been heard on countless animated recordings, including songwriter demos for films by Disney and Dreamworks. Jessica had the honor of performing at the grand re-opening of Radio City Music Hall, hosted by Billy Crystal and has shared the Broadway stage with such talents as Douglas Sills, Marc Kudisch, Rex Smith, Tony Vincent, and pop-recording
