History: Jessica Cerro is Triple JJJ's 2012 Unearthed High Finalist representing Sydney, Australia. Jessica started writing at age 16. Her first song More was written for her soccer scholarship in the US for university studies. Her second Someone Out There was popular among friends. The third The Return was inspired by the BBC UK Series Sherlock at which she is a fan. Three months after her first song, she wrote her fourth song Anyone But Me on January 2012 and uploaded it in Unearthed on March 2012, the song that gave her finalist status in the JJJ competition on August 2012 beating around 850+ bands and solo artists across Australia; used by Manly Council for their immerseyourselfinmanly.com.au promotion.; as well many other online promotions like shoptiques.com and included in Triple J Ausmusic Month mix tape in November 2012. But it was on April 2012, prior to the competition and the national exposure in radio 105.7 FM JJJ, that she knew she'd be part of a proud history. That month, she was discovered by Alberts.
