The EP “Put the Stars Back” exemplifies Campbell’s growth as a songwriter and an artist. This quickly emerging folk rock artist is quickly making a name for herself on the Nashville music scene with her meaningful lyrics, energizing vocals, and the ability to present her music with graceful intensity. Campbell partnered with Nashville-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Cason Cooley (Katie Herzig, Derek Webb) on the five tracks, recording the tracks at Wide Studio in East Nashville with engineer Andy Hunt. “This was the first tracking session after Hunt renovated his home studio, so there was an air of excitement and anticipation in all of us,” says Campbell. “The recordings convey the energy that I had envisioned while writing these songs.
