The late Jesse Morris was apparently from Pacifica CA but claimed to have started started busking in Oakland when he was about 13, and eventually became a staple at San Francisco's 24th Street BART station. He eventually started his band JESSE MORRIS and THE MAN COUGARS, who released one vinyl LP available here http://evnt.biz/ManCoug , and had a myspace page here http://www.myspace.com/mancougars His career as a suicidal roustabout punk rock version of Johnny Cash ended in his eventual death Sunday, Nov. 6 2011 at the young, but street seasoned age of 27.
