Artist
BardofCornwall Style: Celtic Mostly traditional Irish, Scottish, and maritime Canadian music, performed on a variety of acoustic instruments. A poet and musician, specializing in celtic music. I grew up in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada. I play a Washburn acoustic guitar, a Hondo Mandolin and a generic bodhran. I also play pennywhistle, fife, bagpipe chanter, fiddle and various percussion instruments. For those who are interested, I'm of Scottish and French descent. Also, when I play Irish or Scottish "rebel songs," I don't take any side in the longstanding political quarrels in the UK. For me, the music is the important thing. * New: I'm currently working on a CD, and am recording it myself at my university's media lab. Stay tuned for a release date (hopefully before fall 2008). I'm still working on how and where I'll sell it. Record Label: Thistle Bloom Label Type: Independent Influences: Great Big Sea, The Pogues, The Dubliners, Silly Wizard, Danu. I'm also influenced by some Glengarry, Ontario bands like: Haggis, The Brigadoons and Hadrian's Wall.
