Jesse Brand was born January 1, 1976 in Ferndale, Washington. He is the youngest son of Steve Brand, former guitarist for David Frizzell and drummer for Rusty Draper, and Gail Brand, an American Sign Language Interpreter and schoolteacher. Before moving to Texas, Jesse earned a living as a carpenter and at one time, a semi truck driver. Though he is most known for his music, Brand is also an actor and accomplished athlete. He landed a bit part in the 2010 Fox television series Lone Star[3], and appeared in season two of the long running Fox television series Prison Break. He also spent 5 years in the MPFL (minor professional football league) with the North Texas Stampede (Fort Worth, Texas) and Northwest Avalanche[4] (Bellingham, Washington).
