Jesse Baez is a Guatemalan contemporary urban music artist. Born in the United States, he moved with his family to Guatemala at the age of six, where he spent most of his youth. He was exposed to Motown and R\&B music from an early age, developing an interest in singing influenced by his grandmother. Baez began to develop his musical style through collaborations with artists and producers in Mexico. His single "No Eres Tú," featuring C. Tangana, gained significant attention, reaching four million views within a few months of its release. Following several additional releases, Baez signed with Broke Kids, a sub-label of Universal Music Enterprises (UME).
