Jersey Surf is based out of Berlin, New Jersey. The corps is a member of Drum Corps International and they compete in DCI Division II. The director of the corps is Bob Jacobs. Band Directors from southern New Jersey founded Jersey Surf in 1990. Their first performance was in 1991 at the Independence Classic Drum and Bugle Corps competition at the University of Pennsylvania's Franklin Field. The 2007 season marks the first time the corps will tour the west coast, including Washington, Oregon, and California. By combining a positive attitude with a commitment to living every day in the pursuit of our "personal best," there is virtually no limit to what we can accomplish... as individuals who comprise the special team effort called The Jersey Surf.
