Artist
Jeronimas Milius (b. October 11, 1984) is artist who represented Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 with a rock ballad “Nomads In the night”. Jeronimas Milius sings in a band Soul Brothers (now the band's name is Soul Stealer), which he teamed up with a guitarist Enrikas, and which, according to Jeronimas, plays a melodic metal, heavy/power metal. “Nomads in the Night” – it’s lyrics by Jeronimas and music by Vytautas Diskevicius, who actually suggested that Jeronimas would participate in the National Selection, where the young artist captured the hearts of the Lithuanian public. Jeronimas jokes about having even three dads – one biological and two “musical”: Česlovas Gabalis and Povilas Meškėla. The renowned pop singers are not just his vocal teachers and archons, but also his friends. Lithuanian pop stage star Povilas Meškėla, apart from coaching as a vocal teacher, is also Jeronimas’ manager. Before the Selection Jeronimas said: “The important thing is that I would be satisfied with my own performance. I hope, people will like my song, especially those who have more sophisticated musical tastes.” Jeronimas has been passionate about an alternative pop for quite a long time now. He’d been invited to number commercial reality shows, but, so far, he always refused saying “what would I do there? I can’t sing what I’m told to. I want to sing music with my heart and soul in it.” Jeronimas scenic image matches perfectly the spirit of the song itself. Rock ballad “Nomads
