A seasoned jazz guitarist Jens Fisker has a rich sound and creative voice that carries his infectious love of the jazz tradition. His most recent album Paysage is a first for his long standing trio and Jens’ work has been recognised by many Danish jazz awards such as the Jazz Clash Prize from the 2015 Jazz Festival of Sæby and regional Jazz Musician of the Year of 2012. Living on the North Sea Jens’ environment has a meaningful impact on the output of his compositions and musical energy. He released a quartet album Xylop in 2012 which went on to feature on the Danish National Jazz Radio (P8Jazz). He has performed with many formidable musicians such as Ingrid Halle (NO), Jakob Mygind (DK), Mariusz Prasniewski (PL), Eyal Lowett (Israel), Jesus Vega (US), Nordkraft Big Band, Jazzpunch, Vulkan, Meutiviti and many others.
