Jenny Katz's bio on Sonicbids reads, "Lifelong musician, daughter of a Chicago jazzman, Jenny not only sings but has also played guitar, bass, piano, tenor sax, and flute. Her songs are original in their combination of catchy hooks, interesting rhythms, and captivating lyrics. An award-winning writer of prose, she writes songs that tell stories, making us laugh and cry with recognition at what it feels like to be a human on this crazy lovely planet." Raised in California and Connecticut, Jenny is currently based in the Northeast. She attended Yale University and won the Yale Fiction Prize, as a senior; since then she has made her living primarily as a writer and designer for nonprofits, particularly Watkinson School in Hartford. In August 2012, Jenny released her first album, Galaxies, which contains 13 tracks. She is married to musician Eric Brandoli, whose self-titled album was released in 2000.
