I was born on 2nd May 1972 at Ocean Road Hospital Dar es Salaam my mother being Mwendapelu Nalaila and my father Fanuel Mgendi. I have three brothers namely Mao Mgendi, Mlenge Mgendi and Noel Mgendi. I received my education at Mgulani Primary School, Kisutu Girls School, Korogwe Teachers college and the University of Dar es Salaam. I also worked at various institutions including Handeni Secondary School, Tambaza High School, Benjamin Mkapa High School, TIRDO and Muhimbili University College. I thank God for giving me a good and understanding husband who supports me morally and materially in my works. This is no other Dr. Job Chaula whom I married in 1998 and we are blessed with two sons and one daughter namely Jotham, Jeftah and Joan. I have 7 gospel albums 1.
