As a surfer living on the North East coast of England, songwriter Jen Dixon is used to the rough and tumble of the waves. Picking herself up and trying again is a way of life. Her songs reflect this as she writes about the equally turbulent world of love. A deep soul, searching for some calm in her mind and heart. Drawing on her own experiences but touching on the universal it’s music for anyone who has ever stumbled in the pitfalls of romance. Spending the first years of her musical life hidden behind the drum kit, Jen recorded at Abbey Road Studios, performed at Green Man Festival and supported Christopher Owens on his UK tour. She taught herself guitar whilst studying for a degree in Music Technology, dreaming of being at the front of the stage. In the last couple of years Jen has come into her own, singing and playing guitar around the Teesside area. She writes, records and produces her own original music and released her debut single ‘Falling Into You’ in 2020.
