Jeffrey James Sutherland is a songwriter living in Nashville. His website is myspace.com/jjsnashville. He grew up in Minneapolis, and moved south in 2004. Since moving to Nashville he has written with many of the city's better songwriters, and played the city's better "writer's nights." His songs are often characterized as "midlife malaise" or "urban crisis," as he takes on tough subjects such as alcoholism, disappointment, politics, and emotional infidelity.
