Jedi Noordegraaf has a passion for beauty and aesthetics. Whether it's art, music or architecture. He started playing the guitar as a 15-year old teenager and he has never put it down since. He started writing songs and evolved into a musician and a worship leader. 'Hier Doorheen' (Getting Through) is Jedi's debut album. It is a Dutch worship album which can be musically defined as 'new folk'. The songs describe the journey of man and the church throughout all the seasons of life: through joy, grief, suffering and death, trust and hope. Jedi's love for acoustic musical instruments comes from artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Neil Young and Damien Rice. Jedi is an illustrator, graphic designer and architect and runs his own studio: Studio Vandaar. He is married, has two children and lives in Ede, the Netherlands.
