Jeberrekenelle was a hardcore band from Santa Barbara, active in the early 1990's. The word Jeberrekenelle (pronounced Hehbray-ken-yay-yay - roll the r's) is the name of a language created by Ananda and Aaron. The band recorded over spring break of 1993 a tape in 6 days, which was was released a few weeks later on Loquacity. Several songs recorded in december were released on a split 12" with Rugburn on Reality Control? in 1994. Jeberrekenelle was Ananda Mahto (also a member of DWAB, Folk Songs, HUSK, Rotten Metropolis #2, The September's Tuesdays Collaborative, The SK-1 Men, Something Like That, Song Sketches, Stephen Hero, three Friends, etc) on Bass & Vocals, Brian Tamporello (also a member of Martha Dumptruck, DWAB, HUSK, Song Sketches, Incurable Complaint, Embassy, Jeffrey & the .6 System, Ochre, Strictly Ballroom, The Psychic Ills, etc) on Drums & Backing Vocals, and Sam Bennett (also a member of DWAB, rotten metropolis #2, folk songs, etc) on Guitar.
