BIO: Jean Trent has been singing since she was a little girl. In elementary school she was in choir and although she enjoyed singing with her classmates, she always wanted her own spotlight and chance to express her passion for music in her own way. Trent performed in several talent shows throughout her school years and lived for the adrenaline rush of performing in front of her family and friends. After graduating high school, she participated in karaoke contests and would sing along to her favorite songs in the car on her way to and from work. It wasn’t until Trent met her husband in 2013 and he discovered her ability to sing, that they started making cover videos on YouTube. Music has been Trent’s way to escape. No matter what kind of life situation she is faced with she is always able to find comfort in a song, whether it’s listening or singing along. Her biggest influences come from two of her mother’s favorite country stars, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, as well as those of her own favorites list including, Reba McEntire, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood and Pink. Much like Loretta Lynn, Trent is a Kentucky girl born and raised within its rolling hills and winding back roads. Growing up her house was always filled with music. She listened to all genres, but to this day claims that “nothing beats the twang of an ol’ country boy or girl and the sound of a steel guitar.” Country music has always been her calling and has made her feel like she was back home even though sh
