about

Jade Metz has grown to become one of the most in demand artists in underground House music today. Working under a number of different aliases, such as “d-t3ch”, “Jazzmopper J” and “Creature Comforts” and as the head honcho of labels “Highjack Recordings” and “Sole Priority Music”, he is synonymous with a wide array of consistently good music that never fails to move. He has worked with many well respected labels such as Robsoul, Blockhead , Guesthouse and Spatula City to name a few, and is one of the few artists left who’s music is still available in 12inch vinyl format . Hailing from Melbourne Australia, but having spent much of his life travelling all over the globe, he has grown to appreciate a broad range of music and his sound is heavily influenced by Jazz, Funk, Disco, Hip- Hop and Soul. His production work has been in heavy rotation by everyone from Dj Sneak, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina to Roy Davis Jr. as well as being licensed to commercial mix cd’s and various documentaries.
