Jaymez is a breakcore and drum & bass producer from Winnipeg, CA As a child, Jaymez dreamed of being a world famous drummer, taking lessons from a neighbor when he was 10. Unfortunately his mother objected to a drum kit in the home, but he found solace in an old broken drum machine he discovered in his garage. Cutting his teeth on the old 707 and Windows Recorder, and soon moving into trackers and beyond, he has since evolved his own style of electronic music. Also, Jaymez is rumored to hold an unofficial record for the number of times he has booked fellow Winnipeg artist Venetian Snares for an event.
