The history of Javies begins in springtime 2001. Once in an art education class, Adriel (Keyboards) just turned around, faced Joe (drums) and was like "Hey shouldn't we just start up a band?" This "historical" statement was the creation of the band, initially called "Warning". So there were Adriel and Joe, alternately playing keyboard and drums. After a while, they wanted to get a bit more serious and thought a guitar in the band would be great, that's where Victor came in! But as they spent most of their rehearsal time just laughing or having their traditional "coffee breaks", the the 3 guys couldn't improve that much. Then in January 2003, Tom joined the band, which at that time had no name anymore, and they began to rehearse seriously. The name Javies suddenly came up once; it had no real meaning – the musicians just put together the first letters of their names (Tough they don't know where they got the "e" and "s" from).In March 2004 Javies played their first full-official gig at the "Rock ECG"-Festival, at the "Centre Roudemer" in Steinefort. Although they weren't really satisfied with their performance, it was a great experience and the audience of about 150 people was quite pleased. Half a year later, in September 2004, they played their second official concert at the "Stroossenfestival" in Strassen.
