Authentic Minneapolis sound mixed with smooth R and B. Jason Peterson DeLaire is a member of the well-known musically talented “Peterson family” of Minneapolis, MN. He is proficient on keyboards and saxophone, as well as being a seasoned singer, songwriter and producer. Jason is a well-rounded and versatile performer of classic jazz and R & B. He attended the renowned Berklee School of Music in Boston, studying film score and musical harmony. He has earned a reputation as a solid touring accompanist and ‘front’ solo performer. Currently the keyboardist and saxophonist is in Michael Bolton’s band, he is doing the 2008 Bolton World Tour. Jason has many years of experience touring nationally and internationally with renowned artists such as Donny Osmond, Prince, Oleta Adams, Alexander O’Neal, Richard Marx, Solo, and Cherrelle. Jason has also done studio work with Alexander O’Neal, Prince, Donny Osmond, Bobby Brown, Ben Sidran, St. Paul Peterson, Michael Bolton and Flyte Time Productions. www.jpdelaire.com The Early Years: 1985 - First Professional Gig at age 15. Jason Played at the Rosewood Room in Minneapolis, Minnesota. 1986-87 - Jason played gig's around the Minneapolis Metro area while attending high school at Mpls. North. Jay earned state and local talent awards while playing Saxophone. 1988-89 - Studied Film Score & Harmony at Berklee College of Music. 1989 - Recorded First Album with Zabo Records in Germany.
