Jason is a folk/rock musician, who released his self titled debut album in 2006. Jensen Ackles has sung backing vocals for Jason on several occassions. Jason also sung background vocals on Steve Carlson's CD "Rollin' On" (together with Jensen) on the tracks "Hummingbird Billy", "Rocking Chair" and "Wasted Jamie". He has also worked as an actor appearing in The Plight Of Clownana, which was co-produced by Jensen Ackles, and he has a role in the yet to be released Death Walks the Street alongside Christian Kane, a film on which his is an associate producer. Jason also appears as the best man Bret in the film Cake: A Wedding Story which is currently doing the rounds of film festivals. Jason has done a number of UK tours in 2007, 2008 and 2009, with gigs in Portsmouth, London, Cambridge, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester and Brighton. Jason's UK tours are booked through Slique Events Originally from Bowling Green, Virgina, Jason Manns is a graduate of The College of William and Mary. His musical career was jumpstarted when a friend submitted his acoustic cover of Van Morrison’s “Crazy Love” to a local radio contest in California. It was the winning entry. Manns made the move to Los Angeles, California with his brother Matt who, along with business partner Matt Borden, oversaw the recording of his debut, self-titled album.
