Born in Australia Jasmin started moving countries once she hit four months old, New Zealand, Solomon Islands, England and now Portugal have been her countries of residence. Having a Portuguese mother and father from New Zealand, there is a taste of cross cultural flavor in her music, which seamlessly intertwines through her tuneful melodies in an honest and heartfelt manner. Jasmin Jones is a solo project that consists of a raw acoustic sound, guitar, paino and vocals...Simple but deep. 2010 is the beginning of her Solo career with the release of Lost in Rainbows (single) and her first album Beyond the Clouds. The beach is her favorite place to give a concert after a fun surf! Life, faith, friendship, love and surf inspire her songwriting, allowing anyone to join in on the journey. Jasmin's 2nd album "Look to the Horizon" was released at the end of 2011 where she was also Quiksilvers music ambassador in Portugal. In 2012 Jasmin moved back to her birth country Australia took a year off and then began writing for her 3 record. In 2013 Jasmin won Sydney Songs on stage Singer Songwriters competition. 2014 will hold the release of a new EP.
