Combining trip hop, drum n bass, jazz, trance, hip hop and Indian/Middle Eastern music, producer Jared Lang adds a new twist to the current downtempo scene. Stylistically hard to pin down, his music varies from trip hop with a full brass section to meticulously programmed drum and bass, big band jazz to hardcore trance. After finishing a four year degree in jazz in his native South Africa, he recorded his debut self-titled EP and set off to London. He recently set up a MySpace page (www.myspace.com/JaredLang123) and is currently looking to start a band in London to perform his material live.
