Members include Jaravit (guitar, strings, vocals, pipes), Ogneslav (bass, vocals), Vedrych (guitar). 3) Jar is the musical alias of J. A. Reinbold, founder of the long running German independent distributor and label Jarmusic. Active between 1983-1988. 4) Jar is a group from Eschlikon, Switzerland, formed in 2006. The sound of Jar is best described as offbeat music with plenty of heart and soul. Cracking offbeats, stomach-filling bass lines and whirling drum patterns, combined with a very groovy Hammond organ and catchy hook lines. The lyrics are switching between social criticism and every days joys and sorrows. Jar's music has - almost like the musical history of Jamaica – over time developed from ska to reggae.
