Music of Janota 1935 can be characterized as a bohemian conglomerate of alternative postpunk of the early 80'ies, Tom-Waits-like chanson and scarse reverberations of later slavic disco. The lyrics are inspired by poets from romantic era (55%), the rest (45%) is just trashy full-foam padding. You can hardly find in this music any evidences of World Music, funk or techno.
