He's been active as a rock musician for 10 years and did several tours through Ireland, England, Scotland, Netherlands and Switzerland as a blues piano player of the band "The loop". But one day Jan Sperhake discovered the quiet muse and engaged himself as a singer/songwriter from that moment on. His ambitious compositions are characterized by elaborated structures and discrete catchy qualities. A songwriter award from Nashville TN confirms the consistently positive feedback as well as the rating of Nickleback partner Jason Short: ´truly original (...) as a musician and fan I really liked it.` This songs has been arranged and recorded now by top-class musicians. The band is formed by Ulf Reitzenstein (git), Ulli Conrad (bass) and Christian Villmann (drums), all long-time protagonists of the Goettingen music scene, and promises powerful and empathetic interpretations of the songs which has been originally written for acoustic guitar.
