James Russell from Glasgow, Scotland is lead vocalist of the UK Space Cowboys, releasing a first solo album No Angel in 2007, quickly followed by 2008's double CD 'King of the Streets". The 'Studio Cut' is a compilation of tracks from CD's 1 and 2. Russell trained as a concert pianist and avant garde/ serial composer before embarking on a career in rock'n'roll in London's burgeoning indie scene of the early Nineties. The devaststion of his London home by a major flood and a need to recover from drug and alcohol abuse resulted in a return to Scotland in 2002 where he made a return to painting and threw himself into curating a new art gallery in the new Glasgow Harbour area.
