Artist
The son of a musician, James LaRoche grew up in a richly musical and artistic environment. Throughout his life he would naughtily post up at nearly any open piano and begin to perform his compositions simply for the joy of sharing it. Not unusually, groups would gather, always to ask if there was an album? No such luck. But then, one evening at the Savoy in London in an empty ballroom a group again gathered to listen, but this time with a difference. Not only were they listening, they also held aloft their mobile (cell) phones so as to share their luck of an impromptu concert with friends and family. And given such inspiration, and the expertise and friendship of another very talented artist and mixing engineer in his own right – Ralf Kleemann / www.kleeworld.com – …this album was born. Hopefully you’ll find pleasure in it too. And if you do, your purchase and awareness sharing of this music will make the composed and awaited sequel to this album a reality.
