James Edward is an American songwriter whose sound is fresh but nostalgic, taking listeners through themes of the human condition, love, loneliness, and desire. Their debut EP, "All That We Have", contains songs that feel very dreamy, and dance between genres, with a focus on vocal layering, lush guitars, and orchestral arrangements. Lyrically, there's a heart of commitment and endurance through life's most difficult and unsteady times, the fleeting nature of existence, a yearning to be with the ones you love, and adjusting to new, unexpected ways of living through tragedy and uncertainty. The EP is produced by Eric Andrew Taylor (Bryan & Katie Torwalt, Logan Pilcher, Skylar Capri) and mastered by Jonathan Berlin (JOHNNYSWIM) and was released September 30, 2022.
