Born and raised in the country just outside suburban Dublin, OH, James comes from humble roots. Since giving up video games to learn guitar in high school, his career up to this point has consisted of playing acoustic rock and folk guitar while crooning cover tunes. All while unabashedly recording them and inflicting the resulting tracks on friends and family. While this got him through college with moderate success, it was time for a change. During an awesome stay with his lovely (and admittedly demanding) girlfriend in Texas, inspiration struck and he wrote a song, "Bitch, Make Me A Sandwich", that came out hip hop when he picked up the mic.
