Jake. (Yes that dot belongs there!) is a musical project from the Netherlands by guitarist Mario de Kort and Singer/Songwriter Chris Anderson. Jake. started out as a little side project in the cold wintermonths of 2008 between 2 friends who got along not only like brothers, but as musical counterparts. The classic rock loving Mario and the folkie Chris found a common interest in acoustic music and began writing material together, incorporating different genres of music into their own styles (such as the tongue-in-cheek Irish Folk and classic vibes of Rock 'n Roll with a twist) and electronic programming (it's minimal, but it's there!). What they want? Emotion in it's purest musical form, to create a landscape that appears as soon as you close your eyes and listen to the sometimes soothing, sometimes angry guitartechnics and the emotional vocal parts.
