Jake Monte is a well-accomplished singer and vocal sensation. At just 15 years old, he has swept through New York City, his hometown, stunning audiences at the city's most prestigious venues. His first major solo debut was at Radio City Music Hall, singing solos in the live presentation of "The Lord of The Rings: The Fellowship of The Ring" in October 2009. The following October, he did the same thing for "The Two Towers," also at Radio City. With the Brooklyn Youth Chorus he has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman, The Today Show, commercials, Christmas Specials, and on a jazz musical's soundtrack. He has also recorded music at top studios such as Avatar and Area 51 NYC. This year he's done quite a lot of high-end work, including starring as Friedrich alongside Brooke Shields, Laura Osnes, Tony Goldwyn, and more in a Carnegie Hall production of The Sound of Music in April. In May and June, he sang solos in "Excerpts from Atlantída" at Lincoln Center, and in July, he recorded as a backup singer for Glen Hansard for a song called "This Gift" which was featured in this summer's family movie, "The Odd Life Of Timothy Green." In November, he released his first single, "Ever Before," dedicated to those who were affected by Superstorm Sandy.
