October 2011... Since the release of the True North EP in 2009, Jaime Regan has been on an extensive tour of New Zealand (taking in shows in Sydney, Australia on the trip home) and a tour of Switzerland, as well as playing gigs all over the UK, before taking a break from gigging to write and record new material. This summer he began work on his new album, returning to Church Road Studios in Hove to work with producer Julian Tardo. ‘House Keys’ is the first taste of the fruits of these recording sessions, with drums by Jools Owen. The full album, provisionally titled ‘Winterborn’, will be completed and released in December/January. June 2009... Jaime Regan is a British musician and singer-songwriter. After a few years of playing solo in Brighton, Jaime emigrated to New Zealand in 2003, where he formed his own indie-rock band, who quickly became popular on the local music scene and garnered a number of accolades from the national New Zealand Press for their atmospheric sound, energised performances and Jaime's distinctive voice. However, torn between his family roots in the UK and the beauty of his newly-adopted home of New Zealand, Jaime finally returned to England after three years. Arriving back in Brighton, he played solo for a short while, before forming a melodic rock band named Ghostbirds, who gigged regularly in London and their hometown.
