Band Jah Пре (also Джа Пре) based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. We play summer sunny reggae-funk music with elements of rap, trip-hop and jazz. Our songs are in Ukrainian, which makes them somewhat softer and tuneful just as the language is. Some of our lyrics are based on some special features and idiomatic expressions, that's why people think we sing in French. The process of writing songs is natural, not forced, as there is spirit in it. This spiritual presence is something our band wants to share with the public. The name «Jah Пре» came from the song of the same name, and means virtually «God gives pleasure». There's a lot one can imagine to that, but if it "пре", well that`s ok, until it does. Enjoy our music and get happy! Records: We have a demo record of 9 acoustic tracks, one song "Джа Пре" with trumpets and electric instrumens, recorded at "М-АРТ" studio (Kharkiv, 2006). 14 live tracks were recorded as a demo at our full strength (6 members) at "Creation" studio (Kharkiv, 2007).
