The story begins when singer Dennis James Dine leaves his London home to start over in Sweden, meets guitarist Micke Löfgren and they instantly bond and form a band called The Valottes. The Londoner musician is instantly inspired by the Swedish music scene and Löfgren’s guitar hooks and decides to stay. The first band plays some major festivals in Sweden but is short lived and they go separate ways. In summer 2014 they decide to form Jaguar Shoes, an alternative rock band based in Lund Sweden, with a hunger to go back and write the “catchy lyrics and guitar melodies” they were known for in The Valottes. Dennis meets bassist Sia Hansson at a gig, after finding they share a love for the same bands such as The Strokes and classic british rock bands, they decide to join forces. Drummer Oskar responds to an ad and the initial idea becomes a reality. Jaguar Shoes choose to invest time writing and experimenting with new songs in autumn of 2014.
