Taken from the Jaded State Myspace page: Jaded State may seem like newcomers to the music industry but their charismatic sound is popular among the brick streets of Tallahassee, Florida. The band began in late 2003 when Scott Greenberg brought the key musicians to complete the sound of the band modern rock meets a west coast feel. Jaded States style screams positive energetic vibes as they are inspired by a combination of artists like 311, Incubus, Gruvis Malt, Sublime, and Tool. Jaded States first live performance was at The Club Downunder on Florida State University's campus where they attracted over 300 students. Their first performance included several original songs and popular covers that drove the crowd into frenzy. This impressed the club manager invited them for future performances, increasing their visibility to participate at other local events like Dance Marathon and Izzypalooza. They were given an opportunity to play at the now home venue of Big Daddys on the world famous Tennessee Strip, and were invited back to perform not a day later. Their creative sound and suave appearance did not disappear after their performance. Lead singer, Jesse Whitten, has contributed to the bands success as he draws in the crowd at each performance. Jaded States performance at Big Daddys is an absolute crowd pleaser, resulting in bigger crowds every time.
