Artist
Jade Hexagram was a psychedelic rock band, active in the latter half of the 1960s and originally hailing from Cwmbran, Wales, United Kingdom, although they were based in London for most of their years together. The group started life as a chart covers band called The Methods, but by 1966 the name had changed and the band's line-up had settled down to Greg Morris (lead vocals, guitar), Dale Callow (lead guitar, vocals), Adrian 'Boo' Capes (vocals, poetry, 'happenings'), Dave Halliday (bass, vocals) and Steve Leman (drums). The group were a legendary name on the London Underground circuit in 1967 and 1968 and they recorded a few times, but with no record company interest the group broke up in 1969. Their recordings have appeared on a number of Cherry Red Records compilations and box-sets. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
