Jacky Jack White is the host of the nationally syndicated radio show, "The Sucarnochee (pronounced: ‘Sook-uh-notch-eee’) Revue". The “Revue” is on fifty-nine radio stations in twelve states, and overseas. The show is taped at the University of West Alabama in Livingston Alabama where Jack resides, and it is also taped from the Temple Theatre in Meridian,Mississippi. Jack has lived in Alabama for over twenty years.He is married to the former Jody Tartt, a native of Livingston, Al. Their children are Kate, Mary Mac, and Henry. Jack is also a Church of Christ minister who has served churches fulltime and by appointment since 1980. He has written for various magazines, and currently has two books slated for publication in Fall of 2010. Jacky was known mostly as a songwriter in the early part of his career.His songs first made the charts in 1985. Some of the artists who recorded his songs are: Ray Stevens, Charley Pride, Buddy Jewell, Steve Wariner, Neal McCoy and Mark Lowery. Over one hundred of his songs have been recorded. Jack received an ASCAP (American Society of Authors, Composers, and Publishers) Award for "If I Didn't Love You", and a NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Assoc.,Inc.) Award for the #1 Southern Gospel song, "When Men Pray." In 2005, Jack was featured on the Grammy nominated CD, “Clouds.” He has produced C.D.'s including artists such as J.
