The unholy union of retired prize boxer Lee 'The Man' Mitchell and notorious street urchin Michael ‘Spikey Mikey’ Stewart is a curious tale…… After retiring from a glittering career on ITV’s prime time hit show ‘Gladiators’, Lee entered into a joint venture with Mikey which would see him invest some of his substantial wealth derived from his former career parading about in lycra. At the time Mikey was under a Court Supervision Order for sneaking into people’s houses and eating their cereal at night (A lesser charge of leaving the milk out was left to lie on file pending any further prosecutions). The order compelled Mikey to spend his time more productively to distract him from his urge to plunder peoples cereal boxes. Aside from theft, music was the only other passion in Mikey's life. He decided to invest some of the money that he had made scamming students outside creation on a Wednesday Night playing 3 card Monte along with Lee on a pair of decks and a mixer each. The rest as they say is history…. Combining their sheer brute force and streetwise cunning the fiendish duo have recently given the Leeds underground house scene a much needed kick up the back side. (Details are vague but legend has it that Lee cornered the Scene outside the West Indian Centre under the ruse of borrowing a fag off it.
