Jackie Carter (real name Jackie Nemorin) is an Mauritian/British singer based in Germany. She started with the band Silver Convention in 1974. In 1975 they had their first Nr. 1 hit "Fly Robin Fly". Carter left the band in 1976 and made a solo album, which featured her biggest hit, "Treat Me Like A Woman". In 1979 she released her second album, Ruby Shoes and recorded an album with Eric Burdon, The Last Drive. In the 1990's she recorded two albums as Nemorin.
