Jack de la Pomme is a moniker used by Brazilian musician John Carvalho (born October 2, 1991). His main influences are IDM (Aphex Twin, Autechre), krautrock (Neu!, Can), shoegaze (My Bloody Valentine), psychedelic music (The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Os Mutantes), post-rock (Slint, Explosions in the Sky), synthpop (Kraftwerk, Yellow Magic Orchestra) and minimalism (Steve Reich, Philip Glass). Jack de la Pomme released three EPs: Incandescência Psicótica (2007), Desatinos Desafinados (2009) and Jack de la Pomme (2011); and two full-length albums: A Popping Story (2013) and Reminiscing Forward into the Present (2016).
