What comes to mind when you hear Bruise Brothers? Well I’ll tell you what most people think of, it’s being beat to a pulp by a couple of tuff guys from the wrong side of the tracks! In this instance it’s not quite that, you will get Blacc and Blu but not from a beat down. The Bruise Brothers is a project that was put together before one of L.A.’s hottest M.C.’s Blu got his big deal. The other half of the duo is one of South Centrals finest Blacc AKA Jac Spade, if you’ve never heard of him after listening to this project you’ll be running out to find out more about him. Oh did I forget to mention that Blacc is also a dope producer, he’s done songs with the likes of Planet Asia, Charlie Tuna, Akil The MC, and most recently produced Black History for L.A.’s Strong Arm Steady.
