Jack Molton Distortion is a rock band from The Netherlands. The band was started in 1996 by ex-members of the bands Gisburns, Ripping Ohio and Neues Forum. The positive reactions to the demo CD’s "Canned Fish" (1997) and "Honey Drip" (1998) resulted in a live concert on Dutch national radio in "Leidse Kade Live". In 2001 Jack molton Distortion joined the notorious Klandestine Records label. On this label a mini CD ("Superman", 2001) and a full length cd ("69", 2002) were released. Live the band played a number of gigs in Dutch clubs like Paradiso, Melkweg, Atlantis and on Eurosonic. In 2005 Jack Molton Distortion released their second full-lenght album "Scramjet".
