J.R.C.G. is Justin R. Cruz Gallego, an American noise & psychedelic rock musician and songwriter based in Tacoma, WA, United States previously known for his role as vocalist and drummer in the Seattle band Dreamdecay. His solo debut Wash (OST) was released in 2016 on Iron Lung Records, followed by Ajo Sunshine in 2021 on Castle Face, and his Sub Pop debut Grim Iconic...(Sadistic Mantra) in August 2024. Born in Tucson, AZ, Gallego experienced culture shock as a child after relocating to the frigid climes of the Pacific Northwest. He found solace in the Seattle punk scene centered around Iron Lung Records and has since remained a fixture in the underground community.
